I had a fantastic experience yesterday, meeting Nick Dixon, who is an ExtInked ambassador for the Western Capercaillie. This was all the more interesting for me as I did some surveying work on these birds in Scotland many years ago. Nick and I were photographed on a Victorian glass plate camera.
