I’ve been listening to the BBC radio 4 natural history pod casts on my way into work recently and wanted to share some good news stories with you. So many of the stories about wildlife and biodiversity in the news are really depressing, but there is loads of really great work going on that never gets reported.
The Radio 4 programme Saving Species is well worth a listen and has some great stories such as the conservation of the Purple Emporer butterfly. One of the great things about this programme is that it gives everyone an opportunity to help in nature conservation. The Open University is running a fantastic site called ispot which helps anyone identify the wildlife they have seen.
